On February 5, 2016, the Sacramento City Chemistry Club held their first general meeting of the spring 2016 semester. The club had an amazing turnout. Over 10 new members joined the Chemistry Club! In the first general meeting, the club officers gave a slideshow presentation of the Chemistry cluband what the club is about. Each officer present was able to introduce themselves to new members of the clubs.
Topics that were discussed at the meeting were the end of the year trip to UC Berkeley, future club events and the SCC centennial event. The upcoming club events are Club Day held in the Quad at SCC on March 3, 2016 and Earth day on April 19-20, 2016. Currently, the club is looking for a new Experiment Coordinator to run the amazing demos for the club. The latest round of club t-shirts are also in.
