invited to this event and thus naming the performance “Chemistry is Everywhere”. The crowd consisted of people from different age ranges and the chemical reactions performed were breathtaking. This was the first chemistry show performed at Delta College, were both the students and the professors came together to share their love for chemistry, with the goal of making others appreciate the science of chemistry. The event was very successful and it is now planned to have this show annually for National Chemistry week. The show was featured on the Stockton Record Newspaper and with this type of exposure, there is hope that a lot more people will show up for future shows and that among the crowd there will be students that get motivated to pursue a higher education career in science.

With the semester coming to an end, the ACS chapter will be doing a community service volunteering project and also planning another chemistry show for Hazelton Elementary School in Stockton. The ACS chemistry club is proud to have very dedicated students that give some of their time to help others and participate in these events. Being part of ACS not only builds leadership, but also character.
