Dr. Wong has over 45 years experience in the analytical chemistry field. He has served as principal investigator of numerous government and industrial projects and programs, and has developed many analytical methodologies such as GC/MS techniques for environmental pollutants, agricultural chemicals, explosives and drugs . Several of the methodologies, such as the use of isotopic dilution techniques in the analysis of chlorinated dioxins by GC/MS, are now industry standards. He was the principal investigator and author of the official US-EPA Method 613 for the analysis of 2,3,7,8-TCDD (Dioxin). Dr. Wong has trainings in the GLP requirements and operations, and was responsible for developing and managing the QA programs for various laboratories including large ones with multiple sites and several hundred employees. Dr. Wong is a frequent lecturer in Asia, and is currently an Advisory Professor of Environmental Chemistry at Nanjing University and Visiting Professor at Yunnan University.
