2023 Janan Hayes High School Teacher Award
The Sacramento Section is pleased to announce the winner of the 2023 Janan Hayes High School Chemistry Teacher Award is Nicholas Bua of Monterey Trail High School in the Elk Grove Unified School District.
Yolo Food Bank Donation
A donation of $1000 was made to the Yolo Food Bank on November 2, 2023, by the Sacramento Section in appreciation of the long-standing service of one of our most dedicated members. Our current Chair, Mariela Carpio-Obeso (left), and Executive Committee member, Shawna Rickards (second from right) were on hand to donate the check.
